Thanks Plim!
It's a "bro" or a "mansierre" .... lol (Seinfeld reference, lol)
I actually was nice enough to, when I installed the driver-side strut cover, to push it down then hit it with my hand right in the middle which of course is where the Koni strut rod made contact and cracked the new cover.
My remedy will be to drill out the centers of both covers for 2 reasons: so the crack will no longer be an issue, and so that I can adjust the Konis without taking off the covers, which are actually hard to remove once on.
I was even thinking of getting some black plugs for the holes, but then the covers will really look like *****, lmao ....

appreciate it. thanks
I wouldn't take it to the dealer to buff that under any circumstances...they will turn your car over to some kid off the street with a rotary polisher (different than a DA, can do a LOT of damage in the hands of the unskilled whereas a DA is idiotproof) and you will get the car back with massive holograms (swirls) and it's not going to be pretty, especially on a black car.
That sucks man...a DA is a dual action polisher (also called an orbital) such as the Porter Cable 7424XP.

Get a DA for yourself.
a) trust no one but yourself to touch your car.
b) if you do find someone trustworthy who knows what they're doing, you'll be paying way too much for them to work on your car. For example, if you were to pay me to detail your car, I'd charge you too much

One of the best things I have ever spent money on. I have been getting quite a pick up in detail side jobs lately since people need their vehicles cleaned before they ship them to the states from here.
Bingo Steve… How else do people think I pay for all my mods? Hello side detailing jobs.

Any ideas abut the damage, or how easily repairable it might be?
. Can't tell from pics but most should buff off. Hopefully you have a DA. If not, get one.
. Double d cups??? Hehe
