Thanks JP... I didn't realize all these years, I have been using my worthless 18-55 kit lens When I could have taken tons of better shots with a trusty 50mm. It seems like all the amateur and pro photographers I have talked to, all love their 50mm. So now I had to get one. I wish I had enough dough to get a 1.4 or a 1.2 tho

Is that vinyl? Matte? I'm thinking of doing a similar appearance setup with a sterling grey 14' ...love the look, I'm too cheap for the glass roof.

 

It's matte vinyl. Only took about an hour to install professionally. I've tried to do a vinyl roof myself before and it turned out disastrous. I like the look of gloss but it would have looked weird since everything on the car is matte.

Cool! I find the 50mm on the digital-frame factor of the consumer Canon SLR is a little strange but either way I keep hearing good feedback about the lens from everyone I know too. I'll try it out and see what results I come up with. Seems like a lot of light (day) helps!

I have the same 1.8f and for me that's fine. The sales guy @ Adorama here in the city was trying to get me to spring for the 1.4 or 1.2, but I told him when I feel I could really shoot that well then I'll upgrade to the L lenses.

To think, I've never owned a white or black Mustang... and I've owned 11. I think I'll get a white one in the next generation Stang I buy.

Dude your car is awesome the front and side splitters are my next mods but I'm on the fence about louvers and side scoops.

 

My level of envy is through the roof!

 

Here are a few mods i've done lately...Added the Boss side splitter, 7 bar Billet grill New Barton Shifter which i'm now a huge fan, and blcked out marker lights with american racing 20's for now. Here is just a few pics i'll post the new shifter photos later..
