The stock door midbass and Shaker Pro sound significantly better, but down the road I'll be changing the subwoofer situation for more headroom.

I've been very busy as of late.

That console looks really good! Do you have remove the entire OEM unit or does this overlay? I would imagine you have to remove because of the storage slot at the bottom. I want to get one of these but that would put quite the dent in my wallet lol

the only part of the OEM radio that remained was the top display. i understand the "wallet dent."

I did the math, I've spent $2400 on the stereo and the light bar and the deflector as of late. about $1000 more and the stereo will be "complete"

Should have done the brakes first, so you don't have to pull off the new/nice wheels and put them back on again. What brakes are you going with?
Just need an impact gun and wheel removal is a piece of cake. I have probably taken my wheels off 100 times over the past year. Granted 75% of that is at the track to bleed brakes and rotate wheels.... but no biggy

Anyways, also interested what brake setup?

yeah I know, but it was planned this way. I knew that if I got the stock sub, the wife wouldn't ***** about the bass, thus making it easier and better to upgrade later without too much shade from her.

(yeah, I planned out long term mental games to get what i wanted out of the car without too much resistance)

you already know what sub/amp I had in the GTO and she complained about the loudness of the GTO, the bass from the sub/amp and it's shifter

already got her to soften up to mustang stereo, she's relaxed on the Mustang's exhaust, and has complained about missed shifts enough that I know i can upgrade the shifter w/out complaining.

god I'm devious.

lol
I know it's no biggie. Now he has to be extra careful in not scratching the new wheels to put on new brakes.
To each his own but, I would have done the brakes first, then the new wheels.

She*

And most likely her stock wheels wouldn't have cleared a BBC...

I went 285/35/19 on the rear (9.5" width) with a 40mm. I'll probably go 275 next time though. Fronts are 245/40/19 on 8.5" wheels.

Thanks for the compliment.

There is more to that logo on the cap then you would think. The owner is a huge Capt America fan mainly due to the Patriot aspect of it. He has a GREAT tattoo of Capt America on his back with the twin towers "Will never forget"

He has done a TON of work to this car and also had a nice black 5.0 at one point. There is nothing done on this car unless it is top notch!

Nice! Same as mine! Why go 275? 285s are perfect, no?
