This is pretty ridiculous, I waxed the car last Saturday but Thursday threw yet another two coats on after the car got blasted further with rain for 4 days in a row. I bought the car on March 28th, put two coats of wax on two days later to get me through to the following weekend, then that next weekend I stripped that off and did glaze/two coats of sealant/two coats of wax, then a week later did two more coats to build up the wax, then within the next two weeks we got hammered with rain so I did two more coats last Sunday, then after getting hammered again I did these most recent two coats on Thursday. Now the rain is done so hopefully I can finally quit with the detailing for a little while…I was up until 3 AM doing it on Thursday night, and then woke up at 9 on Friday and spent 11 more hours doing a full spring cleanup interior/exterior detail on my wife's car, including the big daddy glaze/two coats sealant/two coats wax…needless to say, I am completely spent and could never, ever do this for a living.
At least this time I FINALLY got some sun for some pics. The dealer I bought it from is in the background:
Just awaiting my new plate frame:
I really need to hide that block heater plug…
Absolutely LOVE this car.

Mostly paranoia, lol. I try to make sure not to let the sealant become exposed, I like to try and keep that locked in under the wax so that I don't have to do the big daddy glaze/seal/wax process any more than necessary because that's complete hell to do. The wax was still beading nicely at each application after all the rain, but I just wanted to make sure. Now that the rain is done I should be good for awhile and back on a somewhat normal detailing regimen (finally).

Yeah I thought it was nice of them. I replaced my dinged up and scratches up 5.0 keychain. I think they're luring me in for the 2015 stang tho lol. No doubt I will test drive one for sure

They gave you three? Would of been nice if they'd saved them for other Mustang owners maybe. At the 50th anniversary event here there were at least 100 guys who didn't get one because the dealer ran out. I did get one though along with one of those cool keychains.
