That and Ford only made them for like 6 months before the giant tsunami in Japan knocked out the plant that produced the pigment...

I am a Nikon guy but also have a Sony NEX-6 for when I don't want to lug around a 5 pound camera on my hip. Look into getting a mirrorless camera if you do not plan to get serious - they are pocketable sized cameras that produce DSLR results and even allow you to swap lenses which give you more options for different situations - wide angles for landscapes, telephoto for nature, etc. I love my NEX-6.
