Now everyone has spoken their mind, let's chill out and get this thread back on topic.
Some pictures of today (yes, everything is green, we had a little rain in northern California (still not enough, but we take what we can get)).
happy easter everyone !

I was in California back in December, and unfortunately I started to come down with something major, so I didn't get to enjoy it like I would have liked to, but man, that view of the Pacific while cruising down the PCH from Ventura down through Malibu was insane.
I wish I would have been in better health to enjoy it, but the upside is that the sickness led to my Leukemia diag, so it wasn't all for naught. I'd like to take another trip to California, maybe fly in and rent a sports car instead of driving across the country in the Mustang, and pretty much not wanting to drive anymore once we got there.
I love living in DC, but the ability to live somewhere with nearly constant temps is highly tempting.

Yes, California is certainly nice. I moved here about four years ago, from The Netherlands. The climate is completely different (for the better!).
Here's an impression of what Jeremy Clarkson had to say about his drive along the pacific coastal highway: http://www.topgear.com/uk/jeremy-cla...ute-2005-11-01
When you get the chance to come over and rent a car...just don't rent the Pontiac Solstice as Jeremy did
