i can understand that actually.

i went from stock manifolds, cats and dynomax mufflers and a very loud blower on my GTP

to

headers, no cats, big downpipe and dynomax *race bullet* mufflers on my old GTP and suddenly that blower, even with it spinning faster and more boost, actually seemed kinda quiet since the exhaust was so loud.

Bravo for trying to find a balance!

Thanks and yeah I'm gonna run this set-up for a while.

I thought I might do the '13-14 GT500 rear valance and maybe the '13-14 quad-tip mufflers, but in a couple of Youtube videos they seem very raspy, and I'd rather get away from that ... so, I might change in the future, but for now I'm getting re-acclimated with a not-so-loud exhaust while enjoying the hell out of the car, and not having people a quarter-mile away look in my direction and think "what a jackass!" LOL ...

I think the raspiness comes from the res-delete, which i did not do. absolutely no rasp in mine

Nice car! Moding: just remember it's not the destination, it's the journey. Spread it out over time. Each new mod makes you feel like you're driving a new car again!

Don't they still do that to you regardless?

Gabe, I would like to know your input on the status springs and what you think of them as far as quality and as a company.

My neighbors probably think I'm crazy but I'm just standing outside staring at my car trying to decide what else I want to add to it. It needs something...

I think the same thing when I do that. My neighbors think I'm a certified mechanic bc I change my own oil.
