The latter would cost you WAY more money because of enclosed shipping costs, depending on how far you live from Michigan. AND,...of course you HAVE to do the enclosed shipping. Just find a Roush car that is close in color and options to what you want and buy it from a certified dealer and be done with it. It's A LOT easier in my opinion and, you don't have to wait for your car to be completed before making payments on it.
I lucked out when I found my car. Had all the options I wanted. Put it to you this way,.....I paid not too much more for my Roush than a BRAND NEW loaded up GT/CS. (Not including sales tax/enclosed shipping.)

Stage 3,

Thanks for the info. To be clear, I'm not planning to buy a Roush car, not that I wouldn't if serious op presented itself. I'm a big Roush fan. I'm content with my car for now but have wanted to add a Roush TVS since I bought it! Someday.

John

Wow, quoting myself twice in one post. Final warning, and yes this is specifically about the post I just deleted from this thread. I am at the point where all parties that are continually a problem are about to be gone. If you cant play nice with one another, ignore each other entirely then. Otherwise take it somewhere else.

There is to be no discussion publicly about this post, if you have a problem, bring it to me.

Im the kind of guy that tells it like it is. You wont get anything sugar coated from me. I will give you my opinion straight up, whether good or bad.

Having said that, you do realize with all the money you spent making your car a "replica" you could have bought a real Roush?

I realize not everyone thinks like i think and thats more than fine.

Seriously people keep it clean and civil. I would assume most of you are grown adults, don't ruin a good thread. Enjoy looking at mustangs and be glad they aren't slomaro's.

Suppose to be shipped early next week, sounds like they didn't have a few things in stock, JLT intake and another part they are waiting on. I expected it to be shipped a little quicker but I think I can wait.. at least that's what I'm telling myself ha.

Everyone has a opinion and I realize that and appreciate what you had to say the only correction I need to make here is that I have spent $7,000 for Roush Supercharger and another $3000 for all other Roush parts. I will need probably another $3000 for new Roush brake system and a few more parts. The only thing it really will be lacking is the signature engine plates. so lets add this up.

$ 34,000 GT
$ 7,000 SC
$ 6,000 MISC
____________
$ 47,000 TOTAL
$ 70,000 Roush Mustang
Difference of $23,000

I think you are fine, you voiced your opinion. Where it gets out of line is when you slam some ones mods, or which you did not do. You are fine with me. Not everyone likes Replica, but if you ever watched MECUM Auctions they have quite a few Replica's every week especially Yenko Chevy 2's, Pontiac GTO Judges, Shelby Mustangs and they all go for quite a few bucks. I did not build mine believing it will be worth money I made mine a Roush Replica because I am a big Jack Roush fan.

Not a problem John. Just throwing the info out there.

To be honest,........That 47k price you posted there for the GT + supercharger/labor/misc. parts,......I paid less than that for my Roush. (Before taxes and enclosed shipping of course. ) That was one of the points I was trying to make in one of my posts earlier in here.
That was great of a deal for me to pass up. I was all over it.

I definitely would have been all over that too if I were you. I remember that, but it was used correct ( not that anything is wrong with that ), but I never buy anything used it's either new or nothing especially when it comes to high performance cars. Unless you know the previous owner you do not know how they treated it. If you got yours new or even used for that price that is a one in a million deal, but again I have had 38 cars in my life and not one of them was used of course it helps when I worked for General Motors for 30yrs and always got a h*ll of a discount.
