I have never used that one. I have a 10-20mm Siggy I use for fun once in a while. Other wise I use my Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L.

You don't need filters, everything can be accomplished in post processing.

If you have a canon get the 50 1.8. great lens for cheap.

I use ebay to buy used. B&H is great for new stuff. also they have a used department as well.

Guys I started a thread in the off topic chatter for all things photography. Since there seem to be people asking a lot of questions about general stuff and gear. I figure we could move it to there. Check it out.

These are all great cameras. I use Canon in my business. I would also consider getting a good lens. That is where you get great sharpness.

any camera that you can afford. Best bet is just to buy used on ebay. Get to know how to use the camera. Take some classes.

That Nikon looks good for beginners. So the lens that it comes with is not good?

The kit lenses are decent but far from great. I would look into a used camera and lens. Feel free to PM any questions. This is what I do professionally.

I would normally never do this, but since it seems like there's is some interest in gear for a beginner, here's my set up I'm selling on eBay currently:
