And since we are on the topic of daily drivers, here's mine... I love my Acura TSX SE , Tori.

Although Tori does not look that clean at the moment. She will in a month or so. Heavy detailing in the works.
And like my Focus, she will need some major detailing this spring. My detailing guy already estimated 1.5 days and that's just the outside. I told him to take 2 days with the CS. LoL

I've owned dozens of cars, but- even on the few I've purchased new- they all had some degree of "swirl" in the paint (which drives me nuts- especially under bright lights at night).

One of the perks of ordering the '14 from the factory was no swirls! I didn't even let them wash it during delivery prep. I happen to enjoy washing my car. I get that some people don't, but some of my fondest memories with my dad was washing his car every Saturday morning- so its a relaxing activity for me (and a chance to gross my kids out with 80s music ).

Here's a few pics of my '14 after a wash (the '65 doesn't get dirty too often, as it only comes out when the weather app says "0% chance of rain" ). I also included an earlier pic of the '65 pulled out (right after the '14 arrived- but before I had the striped installed).
Great looking Stangs.

Took her out and started her up. I also added the Engine Dress Up Kit. Looks great! You can really see the carbon fiber in the engine cover

Agreed. Cars are meant to be driven.

Why would you WANT to drive a 400+ hp monster in snowy and icy conditions? Not like you're going to be using those ponies the way their intended to be used.

Thank you for this pic. I have always wondered what those billet caps looked like on a car. Now I see that the crazy price is worth it, so it is going on my list of mods.

sure they are but taking a mustang into 6-10" of snow on the roads is not driving, its fearing for your life.

My Jeep is much more fun to drive in the winter than the Mustang. AWD and snow is a blast, plus it never gets stuck (with my driving at least). The Mustang with my summer only tires will light up the rear wheels in 3rd gear getting on the highway if it's below 50F and it just frustrates me.

I used to take my tuned up Audi S4 out during the winter with snow tires and it was a blast. But I bought the Mustang for warm weather street driving and track driving. I don't feel the least bit bad about garaging for most of the winter and making up those miles in the warm weather where I have traction and track events!!

And yes, I will be trailering my car to events this year - not to keep miles down, but because my Jeep is more comfy for long distance driving and to have the ability to trailer the car home if something breaks. Such as the clutch which seems to fail regularly on these cars under high RPM driving conditions

I'm my own "detailing guy" Phil! You need to work on your own car . Not hard. Just patience
