Well s**t. Took this picture at lunch, and it was 10x worse when I just left work. Had about a .25" layer of ice encapsulating it... So much for living in the desert...

How did you get rid of the ice on it?

Found the week spots, a lot of it came off in chunks. As far as the windows go, just let the defrosters run for about 20 minutes, then luckily a coworker had an ice scraper... previous to that I was using the front license plate bracket from the trunk. Most of it has melted off now though. I'll be taking the Jeep tomorrow.

I heard it was going to get cold this weekend, didn't realize it was going to be freezing rain all day though. Everything seemed normal when I left for work at about 6 this morning so I didn't think anything of it.

Lol that's funny how that stuff is so rare for you guys. For us Midwesterners, that's an everyday occurrence in winter. It sucks

The ****ty part is that it was mid-70s just a couple of days ago.

It's not too bad, it's just the fluctuations in the weather that makes it suck

That's fine with me, because I like it, and I've gotten far more compliments than detractors. I say, feel free to ask for opinions, but in the end do what you like.

That being said...

Derrick, I think the hash marks and the hood vents look cool to me. If it were my car, I might go with some other color like red for the accents, but that's just me. I agree that I don't particularly care for the "MUSTANG GT" on the rocker panels, but again that's just me. There are people out there who will love it.

Horspla, there's nothing about that photo you posted that I don't like.
Lothar,

I was thinking the same thing about your ride. Like the lighter color pins on the outer edges of the rally stripes. I could handle seeing a few more pix of your car!

Hey Miguel help a dumb@ss out: what does ...(Y)... mean?

You say that but the roads were god awful today, even in a jeep! I'll have to find it, but there is a picture floating around of a police Yukon smashed into a street light.

So I started taking the stripes off and realized the mustang GT by itself looks kind of nice. I think if I take the hashmarks off it would look great just like that.
