Wow that is the sexiest stang I've seen on here. It almost makes me want to keep mine! I'm think I'm selling it tomorrow :/

Latest. Removed the lettering and I think it looks a helluva a lot better. Next I'll probably add a chrome grille to the front end to replace the plastic honeycomb grille. Both upper and lower.

It DOES look a lot better.

Any thoughts of lowering?

Thanks

And YES I do plan on lowering it an inch or 2 to give it a more aggressive look. I've also thought about plastidipping the hood vents white but I have heard that with all of the hot air that comes out of the vents it tends to peel the plastidip. That is why I went with the vinyl instead but I don't like how the vinyl does not cover the whole vent.

Much better, not a huge fan of the little side stripes but they aren't horrible.

Never heard that before. I have my vents PlastiDipped, and my new Borla exhaust tips too.

The vents survived all summer with no issues. I forget exactly when I dipped them, I think it was last year.

I would try the look without the hash marks too.
Being white against the black they're just too in-your-face, I believe.

Lowering it will make a big difference in looks. I would recommend doing that next, before any other body mods. It may alter "the look" you'll go for.
Once lowered though, you'll want new wheels since the Brembo rims will tuck inward too much. You can do some 1/4" spacers but that's not really enough ...

I don't either. Nothing with BMW on it. Just my opinion. Your mustang is probably way more fun, unique, and easier to take care of than any BMW.

If you don't mind could you elaborate on the process of plastidipping the vents? Like how many layers how long to wait between applying each coat, etc. And did you completely remove the vents or did you just tape them off and only paint the top? I guess all you have to do is remove the weather cover under the hood, they just look like push pins

As for the hashmarks I really think the camera I have doesn't do them justice. Maybe the flash shines off of the white making them look brighter than they really are. In person it looks better but I've been wanting to add silver accents instead for a stealthier look. It would only be a super snake stripe and silver hoodvents.

As far as lowering. If they warp the rims like that I may have to think twice about getting new springs. Reason is, I'd rather order everything together to avoid that issue before it even starts(wheels, tires, springs). Also new tires because the stock pirelli tires have been a big pain while driving in rain. SO, I might hold out on that for now.

Mmmmm of course this is the picture thread so I won't actually continue to discuss this, but I think your being a little narrow minded.
