I would rather have a Boss stripe V6 Mustang which I love and be able to afford my other toys, like the 2000 dollar brass locomotive sitting on my desk right now than have a real V8 Stang and not have my toys.

Paul, I haven't seen pics of your ride lately. Still hibernating? Marilyn was out and about yesterday...felt good. Today, it snowed again. Will keep her garaged till Friday when it's 50 out.

Btw, I feel for you about claying. I have been claying Tori for the last 2 weeks...usually a panel or so a night. Last night I went a little longer, so I just have the trunk and lower fascias to do. Next up, Farah.

 

I have to buy some much needed "waterless" wash because this place is for the birds. I tried to use the car wash bay today with the sprayer and it was too flippin cold out to dry her off so I hit the road and went fast enough to make all the water bead off....quickly. I love German speed limits.

 

She came out of hibernation briefly in February for our monthly meet but, since then, she's been sleeping in the garage, hooked up to the CTEK.

It's still freezing here, so snow and salt still on the roads. Spring has to get here soon!

I just bought a 2014 V-6 Prem, I'm not putting boss stripes on it but I've always liked them. I went with the V-6 because I won't ever need the V-8. But quess what Guys I have a "MUSTANG". Yea I know but it's Not a V-8, it's "a V-6". Get over it people, in my mind I have something that you don't have "a real mustang", Oh you say, Yea one of the first 1965 V-8 HO, 4sp, Posi, coupe the factory put out, that make your's not a Real Stang. Know why without mine yours wouldn't even be here. Your hurt right, I, you and He has a mustang, Take the engine out of it and see if I'm not right. By the way Ace glad you didn't get hurt.

I have the same thought Ace. the $8000more the V-8 would have been, the wife and I split. I have 3 new Lionel sets I don't need more Brass, the wife bought a Diamond ring. She's happy and thats what counts.

 

Nice car, But I wish Ford would have put more peral, tinted the clear or something to make the color grab you more.

 

Thanks. I'm glad it's just plain white; that's why we chose this color over DIB or red candy. It will be a lot easier to touch up than any of the metallic paints. Besides, it's really a throwback to the original. I just wish the stripe was guardsman blue instead of sonic blue.
