As for the girl, it was a friends video project they used my car for and didn't cost me anything. Appreciate the fact you think my car is "ok", I'll sleep so much better now.

Pretty sure you're the toolbar that was posting on here recently under a different name and got run out...guess a mod could verify that?

It's ok, it was just a V6 auto with Boss stripes. Nothing against V6 autos (I sadly own one, a 2000, that I detest), but V6 autos with Boss stripes ...IMO of course. I know he's gotten enough grief for it. Glad he's okay, but hoping the next Mustang he buys, he'll mod a little...differently...than the last.

Just because it was a auto V6 with Boss stripes does not mean that it wasn't everything to me. Sometimes even the cheapest of things mean the most to people.

Agreed. That's salt in the wound. I'm really sorry about your stang.
Customizing stangs makes them your own, so when you lose one like that it's like losing part of yourself or something you care about.
But... With stangs always comes upgrades when something bad happens. Rear end someone and get a new hood or bumper!

I know it wasn't, but sometimes the truth hurts. Like I said, glad you're okay and have plans to get into a better ride I was just as pissed when my 2000 was t-boned (and not totaled btw). I just didn't have Cobra emblems or stripes on it :P

I still wish that car was totaled. My Kenny Brown strut tower brace "saved" the car from being totaled because it triangulated the shock towers, so only the right strut and LCA broke. No frame damage or shock tower damage. $5k in parts and labor on a 100k V6 auto. Awesome. And insurance wouldn't pay for a complete paint job, so only 1/3 of the car has brand new paint and it doesn't match the rest of the 10 year old (this happened 3 years ago) faded paint. Due to the airbags deploying, it's almost certainly a total...
