2005-2014 Mustang Torque Box Brace Install - Steeda Autosports

Hello All:

These braces are compact and light weight. They are much lighter than the unnecessary braces many competitors offer and specifically designed for the needs of the S197 Mustang. They tie together the inner/outer frame rails and the rear lower control arm mount. One of the few areas on the S197 that could use additional bracing.

You can check it out here: http://www.steeda.com/steeda-mustang...race-555-5551/

Best Regards,

TJ

Do these interfere with the Boss Quad Exhaust? And how much do they cost?

I have these braces. I don't believe you can use the boss exhaust with them

I've had a weird relationship with the braces. Lol, I was unimpressed with any handling improvement they would offer. The car didn't feel any different, even under hard cornering. Initially, this is what I bought them for. Where they did make a difference was in wheel hop. I changed my lcas and did relo brackets and this just minimized the hop but it was still there. When I added the braces, it removed any hop from my car. So this is my long winded way of saying it depends on what you are expecting.

I can see how this would happen since all the bars link into where the LCA's connect in the front. This basically prevents the forward flex. Good stuff.
