I found a 2011 base v6 mustang for sale online which had the leather steering wheel and leather shifter handle. The ad also included the VIN number of the car. I used that vin number to order the leather steering wheel and leather shifter **** from Tousley Ford. The steering wheel cost me $186.00 and the shifter **** cost me $53.43 I will post pictures once I receive and install them.
I went to Tousley Ford's website and found the steering wheel and shift **** that matches the prices you quoted but the descriptions don't clearly state they are the leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter for the 18R package. Do you know for a fact that those are the parts because if so, I'm going to order it too? Please post pics when you get them.

Probably just an academic question but I think someone said the audio buttons on the 18R wheel won't work if you install it on a base car. Doesn't that mean the 18R package also included a different radio than the base or premium? Or do 18R cars get the premium radio so the buttons on the wheel will work?

If the audio buttons worked, I'd probably return this Bullitt wheel and get the 18R one.
I don't like the idea of having non functional buttons, though.

I just received the leather steering wheel and leather auto shifter handle. The shifter handle looks awesome. The steering wheel was missing the spoke covers and switches. I already ordered the missing parts and will post when I receive and install them!

Thanks.
I'm thinking the assembly looks like it wants to slide out towards the center. They way the leather wraps around the buttons, it looks like if I just pryed them straight out, it would untuck the leather.
I stuck a screwdriver in under the connector, and jammed it in as far as I could. I am trying to pry up. It looks like the leather is holding it in. Looks like theres a flange that runs around the edge. That's why I thought it only slides out.
That's what I thought too, what ever you do DON'T try sliding the button toward the center, they will brake.
It has to pop straight out, the leather will go back when you put the buttons in.

I just installed the 18R steering wheel and shifter handle. The cruise control works but the audio controls do not work. I wonder if the fleet option radio is different. If so, does it have the radio with built in CD changer such as the shaker 500?

I think I asked that before. I can't believe Ford would sell cars with non-functioning buttons on the wheel. Am interested in the part number for the 18R radio although it will probably cost way more than I would pay to activate the buttons. So its probably the bullet wheel for me when I get around to it.

I went for the 18R steering wheel because I like the brushed aluminum spoke covers on the 18R wheel but did not like the suede leather on the GT500 steering wheel. I knew that the audio controls would not on the GT500 wheel and I hoped that maybe the 18R wheel audio controls would work, which I know now that they do not. I wonder if the 18R radio would make the 18R steering audio controls work. I would only buy it if it has a built in cd changer or built in hard drive to store music. Do the shaker 500 or shaker 1000 radios have built in cd changers or built in hard drives?

I'm sorry if I sounded like I thought it was a bad idea to get the wheel if the buttons didn't work. That's just a personal preference like not liking a black car.

Wait, I didn't mean to sound like black isn't a great color for a car, just that I don't like it, just like I hate scoops.

Wait...........

never mind.

Was there a separate wiring connection on the wheel for the audio controls or a single connection for audio and cruise? If separate, it would take more than a different radio to make them work. We would need that harness too. Or is it possible the base radio already has a port to plug that harness into and all that's needed is the harness?

Any pics? Also what were the prices of the spoke covers and switches? I want to purchase these from Tousley Ford's website too but their pictures and descriptions don't help. I appreciate any info you have.

This is the message I got in response to the part number request for the steering wheel and auto tranny shifter **** from Tousley Ford:

"The shifter handle is number BR3Z-7213-BA, which runs $53.43 The steering wheel is number AR3Z-3600-EA, which runs $186.00 These numbers are too new for the online catalog, but can be ordered over the phone 1-800-328-9552, mention this website for the correct pricing Thanks!"

Make sure that you mention that you were looking on their website for the parts so you can get their discount.
