Have you guys tried the difference in the feel of the Premium steering wheel vs. the Bullitt. I might be changing my mind about the Bullitt wheel. Just wondered if the leather and thickness of the wheel were up to par with the new wheel?

I have found this somewhere when I was searching so let me take some time today and I will edit this.
UPDATE: I still cannot find those prices. I found them yesterday but to no avail, I am having zero luck today.

The leather on the Bullitt/GT500 wheel is far superior to the leather they use on the V6/GT (all years).

I could be wrong.

They use different grades of leather just like on the seats, 400A vs 401A, that's why the Bullitt wheel costs so much. After driving around with one the premium wheel feels cheap, even the '10+

Guess I'll just have to take your word for it. I don't know anyone with a Bullitt so I guess I'm screwed.

Actually the Bullitt steering wheel wasn't terribly expensive a couple of years ago when they (and the Bullitt) were released. I only paid $266 for mine from an online vendor two years ago. I placed the order as soon as I brought my '08 Mustang home to replace the cheap plastic stock steering wheel. The same vendor is wanting nearly $400 for the same Bullitt steering wheel now. If/when I trade my '08 in on a 2011 or 2012, I'll be installing my Bullitt wheel in the new one.

It is the same wheel as the earlier GT500's except with different stitching. If you can find a used car dealer with a Bullitt or GT500 in stock you can take a look (and feel) at the steering wheel.

Just an update. I have an 11 GT and ordered the 08-09 Bullitt wheel and the dealer said they couldn't connect it since the cruise connections were different. I'll try to find a fix and let everyone know. BTW, the base wheel isn't as bad as people have mentioned, although leather would be nice.

lol.. most dealers couldn't change a light bulb if their life depended on it. It takes all of 15 minutes to change out the wheel including swapping the buttons.
There are 3 screws that hold the horn plate on, then 1 ground screw on the wire harness, after that the buttons pull straight out.

Yeah, it's very similar to the one in my dad's Fusion. I know how it feels, and it doesn't feel bad. I just suggested it because the leather and white stitching would match the steering wheel. Still looks good though!

Yeah, I had to take them Cinque's instructions, but they did install it correctly today (and the cruise works) so all is good.
If anyone gets the 08-09 Bullitt wheel, just replace the cruise buttons on the base wheel with the Bullitt wheel and you are good to go.

The Bullitt wheel is nice, but I still want the 18R wheel as it has the three trim pieces and the audio controls. I am just hoping that the base GT has all the necessary wiring for the 18R built it.
