Personally I would rather them just offer a Cloth Seat option on the Premium and deduct $1200 off the price of ordering a Premium. That and IMO the leather wrapped wheel with at least audio buttons should be standard, in this day and age!

I would be very happy if they would offer cloth seats at the premium trim level, thats exactly what I want.

Just get the premium and swap seat covers with someone with a base car.

It is believed the 2010's became available because an upfitter was not able to make use of the cars they had ordered. This option is not available to the public.

can't.. the cloth driver's side seat bottom won't fit on the power seat, the whole for the height adjust will show, you can only change the whole seat not the covers.

You should be able to do this in some fashion. The Canadian V6's with our version of the IUP come with cloth sport buckets, leather is a separate option. Without the IUP option, the seats are non-sport heated 6-way power bucket seats.

That's good to know cause I have power seat tracks and only the passenger side fits with the cloth seats. I'll have to see if I can order a Canadian lower drivers seat cover.

Why can't they just offer the Priemum with the cloth seats anyway?

Yes, I tried when I ordered, but was told I couldn't order it (18R package). You have to be a fleet customer.

Go here http://www.blueovalindustries.com/pr...p?pid=99013377 and buy the Bullitt wheel. That's what I did. As soon as my car comes in I will have the dealer put it on.

Thanks to cinque35 for the tip.

That steering wheel is very quick easy to install with common hand tools. It only took me about 20 minutes or so to install mine, and I was taking my time. There are a couple of good how-to's on TMS to help you along.

I don't want the Bullitt wheel, I want the 18R wheel, as it has the audio controls, but also lacks the sync control. I also like the aluminium spokes much better than the bullitt wheel.

So I will ask again... Has anyone tried to get the 18R wheel yet (from the parts counter, web, etc.) and replace the stock wheel.

I agree. I am looking at my budget pretty hard right now and running out of room to justify getting a 2011 GT Prem. If I could at least get a wheel like this I would feel a lot better about possibly springing for the base package. I know, sounds stupid I should probably just get a 2010 w/401a but I really want the 2011 and am considering cloth and no Sync to do it.

I really like the GT500 wheel, but I don't want to have audio buttons on the wheel that don't work. That would drive me nuts.

I finally went and voted. I know it won't change anything since I am the 12th person but this really should be a no brainier for Ford at this point. Especially in a Mustang.

Just an update. I have an 11 GT and ordered the 08-09 Bullitt wheel and the dealer said they couldn't connect it since the cruise connections were different. I'll try to find a fix and let everyone know. BTW, the base wheel isn't as bad as people have mentioned, although leather would be nice.

Yeah, I don't like the Bullitt wheel though personally. The new Premium wheel is sooo nice, feels like the sterring wheel in an M packaged Z3, such a great wheel.

I don't know if a part number was mentioned specifically, but at some point if I have to go with a base model, I will contact KC about getting the Fleet wheel.
