Weird, I have a '13 and they have the greatest lights I've ever driven with. Never got flashed. I wonder if they changed anything about the '14 ones?
Around here, perhaps due to the fact that we have DRL and thus regular headlights tend to burn out quicker, anybody with 2 functioning headlights is "running bright" lol. It's unbelievable the percentage of people who only have one headlight here, and of course there are no warning displays for that (in most cars).

I drive with my fogs on at night. I would get flashed a lot, even after I put the yellow tint on them. I ended up turning the fogs pretty down to illuminate the area right in front of the car.. Be careful though, The adjustment screws for the fogs are made of a very soft metal. The phillips heads are almost completely stripped on mine from having only adjusted twice. I have not been flashed once since aiming them down.

I get flashed as well almost every time I drive at night. Being in Germany you have to go through a thorough TuV inspection every year and one of the biggest things they harp on is the angle of your headlights. The measure then to the millimeter of spec and you fail if they aren't adjusted properly. I usually drive with the fogs on too because I'm in a rural part of the country and animals are always crossing the road at night. When I flash them back they usually wave sorry.

I literally just went searching the web with the same question in mind and took me to this thread. I just got home driving from work in my 2014 GT and got flashed at least once every 10 cars. I just flash them back and it makes them feel like an idiot. I was just hoping I wasn't the only one with this issue so I'm glad it is just the headlights being brighter than your average car.
I may try keeping the foglights on so they definitely know they are an idiot when the fogs turn off and the high beams come on.

I get flashed as well.....and currently on my base v6 I have the HID's on and the dumb LED Fogs....which I am soon to convert to HID's also. I drive with mine on all the time. I have been finding that some of them flashing have the standard 4 lamps on to start, since Indiana only 4 lights can be on. I oblige with the flash back and usually ends it.
Those fogs as they are called by Ford, being white are not. But....after I install my HID's in there....I look forward to a safer evening drive into the country where I live.

13 and 14 models are equipped with Osram D3S (made in Germany )
They produce a very bright light but only 4150 kelvin like nearly all "new" HID lamps. This kelvin level is a very comfortable white light, not too white or to blue like 6000 or even 7000 kelvin.
However, as long as they are correct adjusted and not to dirty, you should not glare people to much.
best regards
Sascha
P.s 6 Month ownership - no complains from other people about the HID so far

I get flashed regularly in my 2014 base. I think some feel I flashed them first when I hit a bump due to the brightness of the light and the sharp edge light line.

Same issue here with my 14 and I noticed it increased dramatically when I lowered her. After reading a few reports of the same thing happening I went behind a grocery store with a tape measure and masking tape so I could find out if they were actually high or just brighter looking being HIDs. Turns out they were high as heck. I believe by default they were high but when I lowered it and thus flattened out her stance, it made it worse. It took all of 5 minutes to adjust them back down. I haven't had anyone flash me since.
