In finding and buying my '10 GT I dealt with 6 different dealers, two outside of VA. Only one dealer was not upfront with me - he was out of state. Most gave me the car's invoice and Vincent report when asked, a couple gave them to me without being asked. I did my homework on the '10 Mustang so I knew what I was after and the dealers I believe knew that. The dealership I purchased my car from was very good. The finance manager even told me they could match the Ford ESP pricing from the internet. He did not try to offer another product. He told me to stick with ESP and get from the internet.

I will assume that Jeff & I are in that .01%

When I bought my GT500, the dealer was nice and polite. Helpful, responsive. I had some problems with it shortly after, and they were freaking ****** about it. I was disgusted.

I didn't ask for much other than such things as "a call back".

I don't know, Chris, you're asking for an awful lot there.

I went into Dealer today and talked to Finance guy that sold me the ESP. First he says "I think I fixed that after you left" ... then he looked at computer and said something about he was having printer alignment issues so it checked the wrong box ... yeah right. I pulled out the internet printout showing he charged me more the double what I could buy it for online. He took the papers and talked to another finance guy and then came back saying he would cancel the ESP and refund my money ... he said the prices in their paperwork must be wrong ... LOL .... He filled out the cancellation paperwork and said I would see a credit for the full $1635 on my Ford Auto Loan account. FYI .. The policy he showed me could be had online for $725 ... he charged me $1635 ...

For those that don't know ... you can buy the ESP directly from Ford after you register you car online .... They have 17 Months no Interest payments as well. Ford quoted me $1035 online for a 7YR/100,000 Mile Premium Care Warranty with $100 deductible.

dmhines: when did you buy the car? I wonder why you got the full amount instead of a pro-rated credit? I'm curious when they start pro-rating it. Either way, I'm glad I created this thread to help at least one person!

No pro-rate if you cancel within 30 days ... I bought the car 28 days ago ..
