The practice of simply posting "bump" with no new information in an attempt to stay at the top is both annoying and in poor taste. If your item has not sold in a few weeks then feel free to add a post that simply states that you still have it, price drop or whatever information is appropriate. Simply posting "bump" is nothing but pure laziness. Most peolple read all "new" posts so they will see the ad...trying to stay in peoples face with it won't sell your item any faster.

We did for a while, we had people that would bump there threads every hour or two...got to the point that members quit looking at the classifieds because they had to go through the same ads over and over.

Looks like the hammer is going to have to be dropped again on this. I've let things slide but it seems to be getting bad again. I am not going to be overly nice about it either....this sticky has been up here a LONG time and if you don't bother to read it then it is YOUR fault for not reading it. Depending on my mood I may delete your bump post or I may delete the WHOLE post if you are constantly bumping it. You have been warned.
