I'm awaiting #2...was supposed to be built friday, but update from blue oval says not blended yet...we'll see.

After seeing ford4v429 post with the carhauler 
I talked the dealer into letting me go to the rail yard and pick up my new Mustang. I had to let the dealer (driver) drive it back but I got to ride in it. I got to drive it first with only 1.8 miles. Sold date is 11/30/05, not bad since I ordered on 10/17/05. For all the Vista Blue owners, check out our new plate! This is the Best Mustang ever built!!!

Congrats- that car looks oddly familiar for some reason- hopefully mine got built today, but I noticed due to thanksgiving many seem 2 days later than usual, so who knows...wish I could just pick it up in Michigan, as I still worry about the handling...but the regional rep guaranteed me the next one will 'arrive in pristine condition- handled with kid gloves' for whatever thats worth. Still cant wait to get to try it out, but no choice...hoping real hard for some miracle to let it arrive before thursday, as I'm headin out for a week or so and will be worried sick about it sitting there on the lot- gotta make them promise absof'nlutely no test drivers. if any of the little rubber breasts on the tires are missing I'll note it, test drive it , and tell them to stuff it. I hope to keep this thing around a long time and dont want to think of it getting redlined before breakin by a freeloader. I see you got a 69fastback- me too- acapulco blue(my favorite shade)- mines sat in the garage engineless the last 20 years though- someday...
