Marci, Great pics! I love it when you can "feel" the excitement (even through a post) of a Musatang owner, Once we get bitten by that "Pony Bug" we're hooked! I know I've become completely obsessed with my Bullitt... :worship: talk about "Love at first sight"!!!
My Bullitt truly is "My Baby" = 'BulitBB' <- my license plate

Thanks about the pics.. and Wow! Your Bullitt is beautiful!!! You should be obsessed!!! And I have been obsessed w/ Stangs for years now. Any stang I see I smile. I'm often saddened that sometimes I look over and see a stang and I give them a big goofy grin like "hey we are in the stang club togehter" and they just look at you like you are crazy. I did get the grin back about a week ago though... we were next to a guy who had a gold-ish colored GT convertible and I looked over at him and smiled at his car and he smiled back at me when he saw my car! (and I doubt he would have been grinning at "me" since my husband was in the car with me!)
-Marci

Oh forgot this... Very cool license plate. We are trying to think up a cool one just in case we decide to fork over the $40 a year extra for the vanity plates.

I wrestled with this myself. I really thought about getting a custom tag (we used to have them) but opted just to get another FOP (fraternal order of police) tag. Might come in handy if I get a little lead-footed.

I finally got to see Vista Blue in person, and IMO it looks very similiar to Moonlight Blue from the 96-97 Mustang. See my gallery for Moonlight blue http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?ac...d=user&user=111

I like the color (obviously since I bought a very similiar color back in 1996) but after owning a Moonlight Blue GT for almost 10 years, I think I'm ready for something different.

I'll try to get a side by side comparison shot.

It finally happened, after almost three months I called the ERL number and found out my car has a VIN, then I called today and scheduled to be built the week of 10/17

Vista Blue GT (obviously or I wouldn't be here)
Dark Charcoal
5sp Manual
Fanblades
IUP and all the other bells and whistles

Does anyone else have a build week of 10/17?

StangGrl, do you plan on putting 2 white stripes down the middle or are you just keeping the one on the side?

I planed on doing 2 down the middle but then my friend suggested going with a metallic silver instead of white. i figure everyone will be going with the white on the blue, and silver with a metallic look will fit in more with the IUP, wheels, exhaust tips, and the fog light bezels i think.

Any ideas/suggestions?

wo ho (sorry but waiting since october has kinda worn down the woo hoo's ... LOL), finally came in. though following the typical pattern for mine ... it came in friday, un-announced, and after the bank had closed, so its been sitting at the dealer all week just teasing me ... sheeeesh. certainly maks for a lonngg weekend (not to mention the way the pats-steelers game is going).

I love the stripes down the middle with other people's cars, but for me, I am going to keep her the way she is. I just love the blue so much I want to see all of it I can! We are thinking of adding louvers and the remote starting system, but other than that, we are keeping her the way she is! I do think the silver stripes would really look good though. And it would look very different than the white.

What looks good but sounds like it wouldn't are yellow stripes. I saw an older 68 mustang painted in a vista blue like color with yellow stripes, and it looked really good. Really caught the attention.

Interesting combination. I saw some pictures with silver stripes and it looked good but I still think white looks the best. I wonder how well black would look? I sort of like the blue and black combo except for on the skin when it hurts

Sure do. And it's Vista Blue as well. Looks like we're in line together.

Same options too except you have premium and spoiler delete, which I am thinking I should've gotten.. the CDC one looks good and wish I could get that
