mine are painted as well, definitely the way to go in my opinion. Cost more, but looks better and last longer.

Mine is lowered with Ford Racing springs. It has 18x8.5 and 18x10 Cobra340 wheels with BFG KDWII's 255/45 and 285/40 tread. Very minor mods to date, K&N cold air, IMCO exhaust (which shakes the windows in the house!) To do list: Hurst shifter, and Street Scene grille with the center fogs.

Thanks Guys! After I lowered the car I had people stopping me all the time and asking "WHAT DID YOU DO TO THAT CAR?!" My wife couldn't believe that people were stopping me to comment on my car. After that she told me that I am never allowed to sell it!

New 07 GT conv ?s

First I want to say these cars are beautful, I am new to this forum and the Mustang world. I will be ordering a 07 GT premium Conv Vista Blue in January. I have a couple of ?s . There is some confusion at the dealership.
I want the premium interior package that includes the all the brushed alluminum and most importantly , the dove seat inserts. also I would like to lower the car and change the exhaust and add white shelby stripes.
Lets here you ideas , Thanks

Good luck with your dealership! Did you order yet? If not, ask them for the order guide, and just go through every item. If not, you probably won't get exactly what you want. I went rounds with my dealer too. After I got the order guide though, it was all smooth sailing!

I'll just throw in my 2 cents on lowering... I went with the Ford Racking springs. They kept the nice ride, but gave me the stance I was after.

Steve nice looking VB coupe. Reminds me of my black '05 coupe - clean simple lines!! I too have the MAG VB mirror inserts and I recently added the SHR Honycomb panel....wasn't sure if it would look "tacked on" but I really like it....cuts up all that blue in the rear area - you might consider it?

Compared to my black '05 this VB vert is a breeze to keep clean...even though it's a dark enough color - it doesn't show near as much dust/dirt as the black did.

06 Gt350

Here is my 06 GT. When I started the project they only had a GT500 so I made my own GT350. Now I hear Shelby is building one. I did all the work myself with the help of CDC ad-ons. I couldn't stand to have such a nice car and use vinyl for the stripes so I painted them and re-cleared for a smooth finish. I also added the sequential tail lights and third brake light from CDC. Thanks to all on this web page for their postings. It was a great help in deciding how I wanted mine done.

Here it is...who says being blue is sad...if its a Stang, its wunnerful...and good, even!...

Here is my blue dancer, an 07 VB GT/CS, still stock and just over 1k happy miles. What I wanted, not much, just an auto (dang knee surgery, and I told my wife long time ago I didn't care what was in the driveway as long as something was a manual...) for a daily driver and the IUP w/satin. Interior is black/dove.

Like I heard somewhere - "I was going to take over the world but I got distracted by something shiny..."....
