Just plain AWESOME news!!!

KC we are continuing to pray for Andrew and your family, and will continue too do so throughout his recovery.

I am a member of the marrow donor registry, and would like to encourage everyone watching Andrews progress to join.

Kevin,

We've all been on this roller coaster with you and the family. Even my wife asks me day to day how Andrew is doing. I've been away from the PC this week, but can't wait to tell her the news. It's amazing.

Doctors and medicine gave up.
Dad takes son home and puts him in high powered classic cars.
Son gets better and better against medical beliefs.

There are so many debates over whether God is male or female.
One thing is certain. God is a car person and God favors those that don't give up!

If I didn't live on the east coast, I'd throw Andrew the keys to my Shelby!
Any west coast locals wanna help me out here?

Now we just need to get Kevin back in the work force!

My youth group had a prayer at the table last night, I am working on some insider things for Andrew as well. Has anyone else considered sending Andrew a card this week? Come on folks, make a difference.

Update!

Today is the day we get the marrow results! Andrew says he is feeling great today and is fixing his own breakfast as I post. Two weeks ago that was not happening! More and more he is getting back to normal activities! His hunched over walk is just about gone and his voice whiched sounded weak is getting stronger. I plan on posting test results tonight if at all possible.

I am so Jazzed!

MGB,

KC

YAY!!! I can see the joy in your words

Mr. BlueSkyVert went for his 90 day PET scan this morning, and I took strength from your ongoing posts. We have been clean since 1/2 way through chemo (March) but I feel like we are always looking over our shoulder. But I don't have to tell YOU about that!

You and your family are my role models Sending another donation now, along with my hugs and hopes!!!

Update

We got some more great news today. Andrews Labs are stable and about the same as wendsday. Here is the Kicker. Andrews last Marrow Test a month ago when they gave up on him showed him at 93% cancer. Today it was at 82% Also a big factor is that out of that 82% A lot of the Cancer cells are ruptured. What that means is the cancer is dying. It also means the actual % is lower than 82%

We will be taking him off of hospice and continuing to monitor his progress. We are continuing with the Anti-Biotics, Our Holistic remedy we have been using and of course lots of Prayer.

He is very upbeat and optimistic and after lunch we will be back at our projects & enjoying the weekend! We look forward to reporting further improvement at our next appointment.

We all appreciate your continued support & prayers!

Mgb,

Kc

GREAT!!!!!!!! I've been loitering here today to hear your update ASAP

What are your treatment options? Does the cancer need to be down to a certain percentage to think about the transplant again?

Great news!!

I know some scoff at holistic methods, and I'm usually reluctant to mention this, but I personally know a woman (my customer) that refused Stanford's experimental treatment for her progressive lymphoma (in the 80's that was a dark diagnosis), and drank Jason Winters red clover tea (blood purifier). As my customer was telling me this and we were comparing notes with my Mom's treatment I was thinking to myself "lady you're going to die". But she turned her health completely around while at the very same time my Mom went the conventional radiation/chemo, was sick and miserable for her last two years and died anyway. My customer went on to open several restaurants and 15+ years later was still completely healthy and active.
Guess what kind of tea I drink everyday?

(I have no vested interest - just sharing)

Wow! The thought knowing Andrew is leading the fight to beat this is getting bigger and stronger everyday and week. The power of prayer and being a family is what he needed and together as your extended family we stand behind the Casey family tall and proud knowing the power of this moment is getting brighter by the day.

Get out there, turn some wrenches and stay safe, I can only imagine how wide his smile is tonight knowing he is beating the odds and working towards recovery.
