Update
I really wanted to get all the good news out on Andrews Birthday & Christmas before posting on the latest but I am afraid we are running out of time & you all need to know whats going on right now.
We had made plans last week for Andrew to get some Chemo & have been trying to get him as strong as possable to be able to survive the actual treatment. His condition has taken a steady downward spiral since right after Christmas.
He was supposed to start treatment monday but needed another infusion of Blood & platlettes before that could be attempted. Normally he perks up after an infusion but not this time. He is too weak to try chemo and He was put back on Hospice Yesterday.
He actually drove his car last week and today he can barely do anything at all for himself. He is not even cohearent. The change is dramatic and quite upsetting to the family.
We do not want him to suffer and ask God for Complete Healing through Prayer. We have been at this door before and have come through.
I know many hearts will be heavy today learning of this latest turn & will be burning up the prayer lines. We really appreciate all of you being there for us during these difficult times.

I was so optimistic that he would be ready for another round of chemo and hopefully getting the cancer counts back down!
You are in my thoughts and prayers, he HAS to beat this thing!!! He has already beaten the odds and I hope that he will do so again! He is so young, it's not freaking fair.
What's the plan now?

Certainly not the news we all wanted to hear. I hope it is a small comfort that your son had such a great birthday and was able to drive the beast (I'm schizophrenic in this regard as well--I love Ford Mustangs, but I also love old MOPARs ), and to know that there are many who are praying that Andrew will also have the strength to drive another beast out of his life forever.

I have been doing some online Prayer Requests for Andrew and I think this response is a fantastic Prayer for Him.

Father God we come to you in Jesus name and Lord I ask for this Leukemia to physically leave this young man's body in Jesus Name.. I ask Lord that his body be restored to perfect working order, here on earth Lord, and that this all be to your glory. Father we speak to this body right now and tell it .. be healed in Jesus name... Lord we remind you of your word that says by Your stripes we will be healed.. and declare that healing over Andrew's body.. Bless him Father and as we pray for him Lord, Bless him, heal him, and let him be such a testimony of your goodness, your love and your healing touch, and Lord give him the chance to minister to many more in similar circumstances in Jesus name we pray..
