From My family to yours, i am very sorry and also hopeful at the same time. Kevin, not a day goes by that i dont think about you and Andrew. Always know God is in control, even if we dont understand. We are always here and members can be a great value in times of trouble.

Update
A decision had been made and Andrew was to come home and spend his last days with family and to recieve no treatment. He was givin a 5% chance of surving the Bone marrow transplant as of monday. Without treatment he was givin a month. Things have changed. It seems he may be getting stonger and a different course could present itself shortly. As of today we are on hold at stanford untill saturday.
So many people are refusing to give up on this young man. Many who know him personally and many who only know him as my son and what I have told you about him. He truly is a fine young man and I want you to know your prayers are well deserved and most appreciated by us.
So many are spreading the word to their prayer groups that God must know we want Andrew to stay with us. Perhaps our miracle will indeed happen!

This is the most recent pic I have of Andrew. I wanted to share with all of you. It was taken just a few minutes before leaving for Stanford on the 26th. We were all laughing and joking and just trying to be a normal family.
Also a pic of Andrew & Terri leaving Grandma's for Stanford. Sarah & I followed until they turned off for the freeway & that's when the Tears started as I realized what may happen during this journey and quickly did. I am becoming more optimistic since the Bombshell news on monday. THe whole family is waiting for that miracle
Here is a challenge for those following Andrew's fight. My brother called me this morning from washington and told me he is calling every church he knows and asking that Andrew be out on their prayer list. Heck of an Idea. There is power in numbers.
I will do my best to update more often now that I am home on leave.

I am so sorry KC. I am glad you shared these pics. You and your wife must be very proud of your son. He has been through a lot as has your family. I will continue to pray for Andrew and your family...

Your family is beautiful and your Son is going to pull thru this stronger than ever. Please take the time with you family and forget about work, afterall you are on leave. I met with my Outdoor Enthusiasts Group Tuesday evening and not only did we say an opening prayer for your son and family, we closed out our meeting with another moment of silence and prayer for Andrew Casey.

Kevin: Thanks for the updates; please keep us posted. We have prayer warriors all over the country on this one. Keep the faith. Better to go through the valley of darkness with God than without Him.

Update
Andrew running high fever at the hospital.
They have called a family meeting to discuss treatment options. It is getting scary again fast. What happend to we are waiting till saturday. The facility has not inspired my confidence to say the least. Hoping for more optimistic options at this point.

I am a loss of words here, I wish I was able to be with your family in prayer. I will follow this thread well into the evening here as well as once I get home from the office Thursday.
