New info, as we got some ordering info regarding the current 2007 models. Balance out for these is in late November, early December, as the new style (seen above) start production in January for a Feburary release. Funny how Ford hasn't shown a real picture of the new Escape yet, and they are only a few months away from starting production. Anyhow, from the spypics, I like the new look. The interior looks to be the best.

Yeah, can't wait. I do like the center stack for the radio and A/C controls. Very different.

I guess the edge might also explain why the escape is sticking with the 3.0? Either way, i think its getting pretty crowded in the SUV lineup at ford. The Edge isn't an "SUV" apparently though... Its not exactly like you can say the escape is a serious, truck based SUV.

There is nothing on this motor for the Escape at all. The Edge, 500, Montego, and MkZ are in line for the Duratec 35 first.

Thats a shame. The new Hyundai Santa Fe is a good looking truck with a 3.5, more torque and HP, and a darn nice interior for equivalent money.

Not good Ford. Let's go, step it up!
