Hi, there another question regarding my 95 model gt. Are all mustangs equipped with remote locking ? I was under the impression that they did so bought a remote from EBay, I followed the instructions given to me by the vendor. This involved switching the ignition on and off five times to switch the car into program mode. Nothing happened, so I had a look in the luggage compartment to see if I could see a module and mounted in a bracket I think I found the power locking module. Has anyone got any ideas ?

95 models have a"program plug" in the left side (driver) trunk area. It is necessary to remove the left side trunk trim panel to access, once the panel is removed you will find a 2 pin gray connector that is normally attached to one of the trunk supports.

To program the remote first turn the ignition on, then short the two pins on the connector in the trunk together briefly, you will find that the locks will cycle to lock and back to unlock. Then just push any button on the remote to program the locks. The locks will cycle to verify programming. jsut turn off the ignition and reassemble the trunk panels and you are done!

Well I had a look on the LH side and could'nt see any plug, the only looms I can see on that side run to that module in the rear panel and a loom running into the trunk lid. Can anyone attach a photo of this plug? Thanks

The connector/plug would be very visible. If it is not there, then it is quite possible that the car is not equipped with remote entry. The plug is light gray in color
