I know that, but the Machs with KB's and Whipples cant use that anymore, so they just fabricate some kinda bracket to basically hang the shaker from the bottom of the S/c

Some guy did the shaker on a 95 some time ago on SN95 forums. Do a search there to find out. He said it's more trouble than the gain.

I guess I may have to see what the big deal is about coilovers since the spring kit I want is 250, and the full coilover kit is 350.

I've never really been happy with the seats I bought. I liked the color scheme, but not the materials. I am honestly terrified of the hack job of the brackets to make them work, and all around they just aren't very good quality.

That being said, these are now here.



They are not Corbeaus, but they are mounted to Corbeau brackets, which I feel I can trust far more than my eyeballed drilling and haphazardly welded brackets.

400 bucks is not much to pay for peace of mind.

Mine are seriously busted, specially the drivers side Even the power seat bracket is broken at the left rear I'm thinking of recovering the seats and buying a standard bracket on ebay, since the power seat track is too expen$ive. Or try to get it welded.

The greatest thing about these seats, though, is that they are bolt in, rather than the universal brackets that came with the other seats.

 

Got the seats in, and wow what a difference. I will say that they do not have as much lumbar support, which wasn't really a necessity in the first place, and passengers always complained about it being uncomfortable. That being said, they are far more comfortable than the old seats, and the leather is nice to have. An extra bonus is that they can go back for forever, or at least until they almost hit the rear seats, which is very helpful for my dad who is bigger than SN95 Mustang size.

All in all I am very glad I went ahead with these.

I just put up for sale my Mach 1 springs, Tokico Shocks, and the old seats. I should be in good standing to buy the Konis as soon as they sell. And they are hot... I just posted the ads last night and I've received three calls for each so far.

 

Got the subframe connectors worked out yet?

 

Not yet, and not really that interested until I get serious about a torque arm. I figure to have one made custom would be about 300, double what good off-the-shelf units cost, and that would come in just a shade under Griggs Racing's no subframe connector model.

 

New seats are in! They feel great, and I must say that they feel more plush than the old ones.
