More likely than not.
Borlas are going on today. Would anyone want a before and after sound clip? I'm sure I'll take plenty of pictures, but it is going to be a pain in the behind to cut the old exhaust off.

There's no way in hell I'd neglect to have a before/after clip made
This is gonna be sick
Did you eventually find something to hack with?

Pete's sound clip sounds kinda quiet, but thats going to youtube right now. We got a sound clip of the Bullitt too, but the camera was too close to the pipes so it was too loud and sound quality suffered
As for what we got done... well I got to Pete's a little late since my dad had to wait til the shop replaced the fuel pump in his BMW, then I had to drive him to the shop, and THEN i left for Pete's. All we really got around to was cutting the pipes right before the muffler and taking the tailpipes out. The bolts holding the mufflers and pipes to the midpipe are too corroded to be of any use, so we're proboably gonna dremel em off, and replace them tomorrow
Anyhow, here are the pictures from today.
The car as it sits

Wheel closeup

From Peter's woman

Peter removing said gift from his woman, in direct defiance of her orders

The tool that made all the hacking still to come possible

Those borlas are so pretty. Shame that the whole system, will be UNDER the car...

Peter's car with its derrier in the air

A way better car a few feet away

Eye protection for Peter

Old and New... sort of...

We later fought eachother with tailpipes

Haha, serious. First I need C/C plates and an alignment. Then we can think about other things.
Car looks awesome, The black on the wheels really ties the car together! I'll check out the sound clips when i get home tonight.
Hopefully Peter didn't get arrested on his way to the gun show.

The funny thing about that is that I still think of myself how I was in seventh grade, and if I were to describe myself it would probably be along the lines of tall and scrawney. I've been swimming almost everyday for the past three years with two weeks off during the summers, so I guess I do get a pretty good work out, but other than that I lounge around on my hiney. haha. Everytime I see a picture of myself I think... ****... haha.
But enough talking about myself. New tires could be coming in today, and the Borlas should be on by tonight. I was driving around today/yesterday without the tips, just straight out the mufflers, and God it's loud in the cabin at idle. Once you're up to 2k rpm it sounds normal, but below that sounds downright mean.

The stock exhaust in that clip sounds nothing like my 5.0... it sounds better. Wonder why that is? BTW, if you had the center caps chromed, you'd pretty much have '93 Cobra R wheels right there. Someone in the Mustang club I'm in had that done to a similar set of wheels (had the lip machined too) for his '86 after converting it to 5-lug Cobra brakes.
Peter's mufflers also have small holes drilled in the back of them, directly below where the tailpipe exits the muffler, but all the way down at the bottom.
Also... We kinda sorta a little bit got almost nothing done today lol. We started dremeling the bolts off because we couldn't get them undone... and then we got hungry, so we went to get some Popeye's. And then Peter's girlfriend asked us to rescue her from working in her moms second grade classroom..
and then we started helping, which turned out to be more fun and alot easier/more comfortable than wedged under peter's car in the dirt. So yeah.. we did that for most of today
Besides, I'd forgotten my camera, so there would be nothing for you all to see/hear anyway

- not like it matters now, but should have soaked the bolts in penetrating oil over night before starting work. Just keep the sawzall and the BFH on stand by any way. Can't wait to see and hear those side exiting exhausts on the car.
