Still procastinating with fixing it lol. I'll try to work on it later this or next week. My brother's car (my former DD) developed a coolant leak and we decided to fix that instead. Chineese water pump took a dump. That thing was barely three years old

Took a few measurements of the 94-95 cobra spoiler to see if I can find a third brake light that fits since the OEM are discontinued and used ones are way too expensive and/or damaged. Same for the Taurus SHO since they're the same.

I plan of using the gt wing to repair the mounting points on this one.

Lower intake is loose. Just the thermostat bypass hose is holding on. I'm trying to get it off without removing the ignition. After that, the valve covers. I still need to clean and repaint some stuff. It's been a few years (9 lol) since they were pretty. 😂

Lower intake's torqued to 23 ft lbs. Pcv with filter & new gromet, sensors (engine coolant & temp gauge sending unit) are installed. I also swapped the studs from the gt intake to the elbow adapter. And looking more closely at said adapter, I'll run into an issue with one of the lower bolts. There's no room for a bolt. Thougt of using one of the stock studs from the old intake, but they're too long. Guess I'll figure out something if I don't find a shorter one. Cut the head off a bolt perhaps? I gave the stock TB a wash & light scuff to give it a fresh coat of paint.

Cheap chrome cover done on passenger side. I had to enlarge the bolt holes to make them clear the studs.

Both covers done with studs & spreaders. They're a bit taller than the factory ones.

I figured out most of the vacuum lines. May redo some of them more to my liking. Still a few more minor stuff to bolt back and some paint touchup here and there.

Still figuring out minor stuff and the serpentine belt. The correct one that was damaged and I was about to exchange it in the local autozone I managed to lost it somehow. So I'm playing with different idler & alt pulley sizes to see if i may use some belts I have laying arround.

Serpentine belt is on Still some minor stuff to finish it. But due to my dad's DD overheated and milkshaked the oil I've been busy with that.

Hope the block isn't FURB.

Fully assembled at last.

Put some allen head stainless steel screws to replaced most rusty ones it had. Looks waaay much better.

Cranked it up and started right up It had a high idle speed. Found that the throttle cable was too tight. I removed the clip and it fell right in place and put it back. Idles great. New valve covers were leaking bad. I adjusted the nuts a bit and it helped. If the leaks persist, I may take them off and put the stockers back until I get a 3/8" spacer for the intake.

It's almost 13 years since I got this car. I've never owned a vehicle for so long before. Heck and never owned all of them of the same brand either. Guess the Ford bug bit me really good lol.
