At least you don't have a Chevy!
All kidding aside, me and my friend were out today looking for a new HU for him, and Chevy routes almost all their electronics through the dang radio. So just splicing in wires won't work, you have to get a $100 harness just to put in a new radio

so the starting issue was a bad battery, at 86k I replaced the factory one, haha!
the sirius came unplugged somehow, which frustrates me, because the piece of the HU that you plug the cable into is partially broken now, tho it shouldnt be an issue at all. The ground was still tight, but I made sure to tighten it down anyway.
So without further ado, here's the final pic

New Tires
Sophia finally got some new tires. The ones that were on there when I bought it weren't that good, so 14k on them is impressive to me. I went with BFG G-Force Sports, they're reasonable and come with a high rating everywhere. Sams had them for $117 a tire, so total ended up being $588,and then it cost me another $50 for an alignment. The suspension up front is pretty tapped out, so if it continues to need adjustment, I'm going to have to come up with something for the towers.
Checked on TireRack the other day, they have the tires for $99

And install, shops will work with you on the mount and balance if you buy from them, but when you walk in with your own parts its another story. I have always had very good luck with town fair tire. The beat everyones prices no questions asked. They also have a huge selection and if they don't have it then usually they can get them in pretty quickly.
Either way they look good David. New tires always get me a little excited.

I loved those tires on my old car. I went with Firehawks this time around because they had a great sale at Firestone when I bought them, but the ones you got were my #1 choice.
I wish I could put in a double din in my 00, but I'm going to just go single so I don't have to deal with wiring the buttons above the shifter.
Car's looking good buddy.

99-00 didn't have those buttons since we had single dins. My fog switch is on my center console, traction control is down on the shifter bezel, and rear defroster is on the gauge cluster bezel. So those would either all need to be rewired to a double din bezel, or those buttons wouldn't work, or could possibly be assigned different functions.

I'd probably use the buttons for something else, or just come up with something creative
