Not much, the factory air box isn't that much of a restriction. And the tune will add a little to the top end but not much. The 2V just doesn't breathe enough to spin that high with the stock plastic intake and cams

does your comment still apply though? because I found it super strange that I had more wheelspin on the 1-2 shift than on the launch
either way, thanks for the info

Starting line has more chemical down than the rest of the track making it stickier. And depending on where you launch. The car makes more power and torque at 6000 than 2500

4 hours of traffic and $200 yielded some Mickey Thompson drag radials on Mach 1 wheels today
This upcoming wednesday is the last day for Infineon's wednesday night drags this season, so hopefully i can finally break this darn barrier lol
As a side note, this guy was at least a Gary tier of baller. 09 gt500, F150 FX4 and lightning, 03 GT vert, blown 01 cobra and a GTI.
Also if Jill is reading, washed and waxed the bullitt today. pics tomorrow

Best street radial out. I start at 20 PSI and go down a little from there. But never been below 18. And you don't have to do a big funny car burnout just wasting rubber. Once you see smoke you should be good

I think doing burnouts on the street tires ruined my launches - the tires were covered with the chemical stuff they treat the track with, and became super slick. I could launch harder on the street!

One street tires if do a quick burn out just to clean them off. If I'm running skinnies on the front I drive into the box.

also a pic of the MTs. the mach 1 wheels don't even have any noticeable curb rash or anything.

Too much heat in some street tires make them greasy. Street tires I pull around and back into the box, same with running drag radials if I have regular street tires on the front so I don't track water to start line. One street tires if do a quick burn out just to clean them off. If I'm running skinnies on the front I drive into the box.

Street tires are hard...you have to have enough revs and slip the clutch just right. I'll make a few passes on stock tires as a baseline and then goto drag radials.
