OK now you lost me.

You don't add anything but liquor and/or ice cubes to Dr. Pepper.

You're drinking some kind of California fruity drink. Orange Fanta = :gay:

and also, ive never found Dr. Pepper to be that good with booze. Cola or Root beer works better

True. But after a fifth or bourbon, you've got to start watering the booze down with what you got.

05 S197 GT owner observations on new/old 01 Bullitt

My 1st mustang was a 05 GT S197, bought new 4 years ago . . . . . . loved everything about it, minus the fact it has no radio auxilary input! I just bought a 01 bullitt yesterday . . .. . . I think I have a new love! The short throw is AWESOME . .. . .the seats look COOL . .. . .. the suspension is tighter than my S197, the exhaust note is sweeter (probably because of a BASSANI exaust) . .. . . .things I don't like . . .. . .the shifter and radio seem really far away, seems like a little more road noise when compared to the S197. . . . . I guess that should be expected on a car with origins going back to 1979! But it is a good complement to my 05 S197 GT.

Congrats on the Bullitt, I've driven Arin's a couple times and I can completely relate to the suspension feeling tight. I thought my car being an SN95 as well would make it feel the same (especially because we have the same shocks/struts/spring rates...?) but the fact that it is 8 years newer with close to 200k less miles on the clock probably helps a lot...

congrats on your 01 dude! They are indeed pretty sweet cars, though I might be a little biased. Road noise is higher than some newer cars, but its not so bad. you get to hear those pipes a little more than you normall would i've also removed half of my rear seat, so its even louder in my car

as for feeling tight, mine's always been that way, since we bought it with just 7K on the clock. how many miles are on yours? and your s197? either way the car is pretty well balanced. throw that thing around some corners and you'll relaly be having fun
