Window Tinting

I am looking at tinting the windows of my new GT. I've noticed that all the cars I see with a "Dot Matrix" around the border of the window (my GT has this) has some "silvering were the tint doesn't stick so well between the dots. Is there any way to avoid this? Is there a glass manufacturer that makes tinted windows for mustangs? Or is the "silvering" just a consequence of having "Dot Matrix" style windows?

I dont know about that, but does anyone else see the differences in the glass with their sunglasses on like I do. When I wear my shades, I can see a pattern of spots on a cars windows, especially with tint. It looks really weird.

I work for a glass manufacturer and I'm not sure what you mean by "silvering"? I've noticed on my quarter windows that the black band is starting to turn gray in different spots. Anyone else having this happen?

Just re-read your post, do you have film on the windows? If this is the case then that is the film not sticking to the glass b/c the dots are on the surface. Some cars have the black ceramic paint between the 2 layers of glass.
