I have read mentions of some PIE adapter to bypass FM modulation for the superior sounding wired input.

What is/are the exact part number(s) or links to the products, Im having a hard time with it.

If you decide to go for it let me know how it works. I have the same Sirius unit you do and I pick-up my car tomorrow - Also a Shaker 1000.

I don't know if it will be helpful or not, but if you need to, check out my Iditot's guide to the PIE adaptor. IT's a step by step manual for getting the shaker in and out and putting the PIE in.
