Does anyone know what part number we need to get a black shift **** for the hurst? I ordered one from Summit that was WAY too big and made for a old Mustang.

Any help on this is much appreciated!

The thread on the Hurst shifter #3910201 http://www.hurst-shifters.com/Produc...mustang%20knob is 3/8x16.

There are several black 5 speed ***** that look correct, but the only one with the 3/8x16 thread is #1630108 http://www.hurst-shifters.com/Produc...minselection=4

Summit has the correct ****, http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku so just send yours back and exchange it for the correct one and you should be good to go.

Hopefully that will fit better and the **** hole that helped me will correct this.
