Mine was done all around 18% -- not too dark, but still makes it harder to see in. I think the color of car would also be a factor.

How did they do the tint around the edges of the side and back windows where all the dots are? Just go over them? Any problems with it sticking there?
Also, what did you do about the "auto drop"? The windows drop 1/2" when opened. Did you disable it? How?
Thanks...

In Cali It is something like 35%
You can go darker on the back but have to leave the sides untinted.
remember the % is actualy the percentage of visibility, so the lower the Percentage the less visibility you have when driving. I think Limo Tint is around 5%
I've been pulled over 4 times for being to dark, so I will probably just do the rear and 1/4 windows and leave the sides untouched.
Besiades I want people to see who is driving this awesome machine!

I don't know too much about the percentages of tint... never had a tint done before. which is darkest, 5% or 20%?
anybody got any close-up shots of the rear window, specifically around the little bumbs around the edges of the rear window? I've seen some older mustangs with tints that bubbled pretty badly around those little bumps.
Jim.

I found this site helpful for anyone still doing their research:

I do not want a dark tint; I just want something to protect my interior. I'm thinking of going with a full metal, titanium, or stainless steel tint in a 35%. I want some really high quality tint, something with a lifetime warranty that won't turn purple, fade, or bubble. Now to find someone to do a quality install and who has those types of tints.

20% all around including a 6" strip on the front.

I was thinking of getting the top of the windshield done as you have. How did it turn out with the mustang dots in the center? Would you still tint the top if you had to do it again? 20% I assume? If you have any closer pics of the front border, please post.
Man it looks sweet!
Got mine done today... 35% all around (except windshield). I went with the titanium tint... a little more expensive, but won't fade.
Now if the sun would only come out so I could take some better pics.
