Thanks for the great link. I've never tinted before, so that leads me to a few questions. On the link, it says %VLT and % R. Can anyone tell me what that means? Thanks in advance! B)

FYI: I was curious as to what my state limits were... found this link that shows all states.

Visible Light Transmittance (VLT)
(‘vi-ze-bel · lIt · tranz–‘mi-tens) n.
The amount of visible light that passes through the glazing system, expressed as a percent. A lower VLT rating tends to be better for glare control, while a higher rating is preferred for maintaining natural light.
Solar Reflectance ®
(sO-ler • ri- ‘flek–tans) n.
The amount of solar energy (visible, infrared and ultraviolet) that is reflected by the glazing system, expressed as a percent.
----
Hope that helps - I'm not sure if the numbers by state are accurate - but it's at least a starting point. Whoever does your tinting will know what is legal and what's not in your area. B) [/b][/quote]
Thanks for the input. Guess I should have looked a little closer at the link  Have a Merry Christmas!
Here's another chart dated Aug 2004 that goes a little more indepth.

Oh man. R.J. That is what I want to do. 15% in the back...but I am gonna have to do lighter in the front. Probably 25%. Now I know what my car will look like. awesome.
I'm having mine tinted this weekend - 30% on the rear 3 and leaving the front as is. Got stopped several times last year with my Linc LS and don't want to be hasseled anymore. I've found that a black car tends to make the tinting look darker that it actually is - those of you with black Stangs might want to keep that in mind.
Oh, and I was quoted $160.00 for the rear 3 windows and it will be the Solar tint with metallic content - thicker than the stuff that fades over 3 to 4 years.

Thanks, Guys. I painted the calipers using Eastwood's kit:
