Very nice. I like the bright red with the tint as well.

I bet our black stangs will get more attention from the Law if we tint them.

I may do 20 or 25% in the back...and 25 or 30% upfront.

hmmm....decisions...

I live in CA too and in L.A., if you are gonna go below 70% you might as well just go as dark as you really want. On my last black car I had 25% in the front and I got maybe 2 tickets in 4 years or about 50,000 miles. Just be quick with rolling your windows down, heh.

oh and one of those tickets came a la carte with a speeding ticket, the cops out here don't really enforce it that much, just get a tint at a place that will take it off for free and replace it for you discounted, thats what my tint place does.

Mine was done all around 18% -- not too dark, but still makes it harder to see in. I think the color of car would also be a factor.

I don't know too much about the percentages of tint... never had a tint done before. which is darkest, 5% or 20%?

anybody got any close-up shots of the rear window, specifically around the little bumbs around the edges of the rear window? I've seen some older mustangs with tints that bubbled pretty badly around those little bumps.

Jim.

Not sure on the %, but it's the darkest they had. I told the guy to make the windows match the paint!

I think 5% is the darkest but, some people double the tint.

SurfnSoCal,

Nice. I think I am going to plan on getting either 25% or 28% all the way around. 20% is a bit too dark for my tastes and 35% is definitely too light. I really like the way that 25% looks on your car.

yeah, its 15% in the back....not as dark as I thought it would be. But the side windows are perfect at 25%.
