PAGE 5!! That's what I'm talking about!! The OCS--Occupant Classification Sensor!! Items 2,3,4, and 5 on page 5 diagram.

What do you guys do to keep this stuff active????

And does anyone know if the FRONT airbags will still work if this OCS system is removed???

 

I've read that supposively if you get in a hard head on the air bags will deploy.. who knows if thats true, I sure dont want to test that

 

Me either--but should something happen where the front airbags are supposed to deploy, I definitely want them to deploy!

My life is more important to me than a pair of $1200 racing seats. But I'll gladly get racing seats if I can keep the front airbags functioning properly!

 

I dont know how the backets are for aftermarket seats, Do they have a bottom seat frame like the stockers? If so I wonder if you can just slide that pad in between....
