I saw a few people ask this question but I didn't really see a definitive answer. I have the Shaker 500 and have an amp and sub in the back. I couldn't find a good place to connect the remote on lead. I looked through the manual and at the fuse box under the glove box and also the one in the engine compartment on that side of the car. The only thing that I could do that seemed to work was pull an engine fuse and bridge it with the remote on wire. I know this is not a good idea and I was hoping someone could tell me the correct way of doing this. Thanks.

I replaced my head unit and was provided with a good lead, but I have a couple of suggestions. The Shaker 500 does have two amps mounted to the driver's side panel under the dash, and each likely has a remote on lead. You'd need to be very intuitive or very lucky, but then again, your Ford Service Dept. may be able to print you the wiring diagram. The other idea would be to "piggyback" a fuse over the radio one in the fusebox; I believe I've read that there is a product to do this. Good luck.
