Peripheral ipod issues

Ever since I have installed my Peripheral unit my battery dies. I don't drive my mustang in the winter so when I go to start my car the battery is dead. What gives? anyone have the same experience?

I have heard some having this same issue. If I were you I would take it out. If you looked I am sure you will find more info, but from what I remember the guy took it out. Good luck
