If I didn't use this site for assistance in doing mods so often, I''d have to leave. You guys and your ideas are KILLING ME!$!$!$!$!$!

Thinking about swapping out my seat covers for two tone leathers with inserts that match my exterior color, but I'm a bit nervous about doing this mod myself because of the airbag in the drivers seat.

Has anyone done this? Any tips on dealing the the airbag?

 

I did this mod to my wife's 05 GT. Used leather replacement covers from Katskin. The airbag area was no problem, designed into the new cover.

 

Thanks for the info! Quick question if I could, I've been to their site before, not easy to determine whats what, other then colors and general styling. Is there a place you specifiy the car on the site that I am missing? Or is it a phone call? Also, how are their prices? Looked at TMI (I think) and they have specific style, color and pricing info for our cars.

 

I called. They had specific patterns for the 05up mustangs. I chose the leathers and styles I wanted etc. Fit was very good. Much better quality than OEM.

 

Katzkin is really good. I installed it in my Stealth.
