HELP! E-Brake Rattling back and fourth?

Title pretty much says it all......: banghead:

I know I need to do some adjustments on the Pypes MM because it kinda rattles the car because the fitament of the hangers is ****ty but regardless the Ebrake itself has SOO much more 'side to side play' in it than on my mom's Cali. Special...Any Advice? Possible TSBs? Anyone have a similar issue?

Thanks for the help Lads!!

PS: Car just turned 17K miles (12K by me in the last 2 years, so its not like its old and Busted)

Mine had a bunch of play in it and they had to order a new cable. They attributed it to parking brake freezing TSB, but my car is always garaged and I know its never frozen. Dealership fixed it under warranty.

Thanks for the info...I really can't imagine my ebrake has frozen either because I live in Texas-- Maybe it could have boiled from all the heat/humidity here latey ??

You could pull the covers off and put some hush matt on it and put the covers back on.
