Question WebElectric Sequentials - Issue?

I installed the WebElectric Sequential Turn Signals back in September 2006 and they have been working fine. I happen to look at them the other day and noticed that my right (Passenger) side turn signal seems to blink the inside first, then the outside two lights at the same time. The driver's side doesn't do this and it appears to be working correctly. Does this appear to be a defective module?

Anyone have any thoughts? I'll try and include a video.

Is your front turn signal okay?
Check that first, if it is out it can affect the speed of the normal signals.

No, the front turn signal is working properly.

Here's a video of my Driver's side which appear to work correctly:

One way to test (which unfortunately requires a bit of work) would be to unhook both tail light assemblies, set them in the trunk, and plug them into the opposite side If the problem moves to the drivers side then you definitely have an issue with that harness. If not then you may have some other issue...

Personally I'm thinking you might have a defective module.

I installed mine back in June 2006 and from day one they did this on both sides but ONLY on the first cycle (light 1, then 2 and 3 at the same time on the first cycle. light 1, then 2, then 3 on every cycle after). I just thought that's the way they were but now I'm thinking that they're not supposed to do that either. Yours definetly shouldn't do it on every cycle like that.

I also remember seeing a video of someone else's car on here that did the same thing as mine (just on the first cycle). note: I also hooked up the extra wiring to stop the cycling for the brake lights.

What does eveyone elses' webelectricproducts lights do?

It's supposed to be the following sequence:

What's lit: inner, inner + middle, inner + middle + outside, inner, inner + middle, inner + middle + outside, and so on.

Thumbs up Fixed!

I contacted WebElectric Products (on 2/21) and got a response via email within 15 minutes. Since they have a lifetime warranty on the harnesses he wanted me to send it back for testing/repair.

Just received my fixed unit today (2/29), installed it and it works properly again! Great customer service!

They're top rate when it comes to after sale support. I think I have nearly everything they make in my ride, and when I did have an issue (top module received defective) they took care of it pronto.

Same here!

I got a defective top module and after trying to troubleshoot it for a few days, they eventually had me send it back and ship out a new module! Everything works great now! And I have their 1-touch drop top & turn signals as well as the sequential tail lights!

For me it's (In order of install):

Sequential Tailights
Lightbar Switch (yes I know the top module added later can duplicate this function, but it's already in place)
Daytime Running Lights
One-Touch Rear Windows
One-Touch Top Module
One-Touch Turn Signals

I like to joke that there's more electronics from Webelectric in my car than from Ford
