Sylvania Silverstars on a V6 Pony Package
Sylvania Silverstars on a V6 Pony Package
Can any of you guys with a V6 Pony Package that has changed the bulbs to Silverstars tell me what bulb model # did you use for the fog lights. I changed my headlamps today, but when I was doing the fog lights the 9145ST will not fit (the connectors are a little bit different on the inside). So I'm guessing those are for the GT fogs, and not for our smaller fogs. The factory fog bulb that I took out said OSRAM H11, but I'm not sure what is the Silverstar equivalent for that one. So if somebody care to comment I'll appreciate the help, thanks.

Nope, those would be PS24W bulbs that are used in the Shelby GT500 and Chevrolet's full size pick up trucks. I e-mailed Sylvania to see if they will be producting a PS-24W bulb since it's in demand (by Ford and Chevy guys) and they have no intention on making a bulb in that size at this time...bummer. Just gotta hope my fogs in my bumper don't go. I don't think there's a numerical equivalent for the H11 bulbs. All the packaging I've seen on other websites refer to it as an H11 bulb and nothing else.

Getting back to my original question, can I change the plug connectors on the fog lights to the connectors used on the GT so I can use the 9145ST bulb, or that will be to risky/inappropiate. I'm not sure if the H10 & H11 has the same watts, or if using that bulb on a smaller enclosure can damage or melt the cover. Any comments???
