side window louvers
I believe those are the SLP quarter window louvers that have the nine slats. There are several distributors for them. Do a google on SLP Quarter window.
For those who have them: Hows the visability? How do you clean the exterior window? Do you just the shoot the hose in there?

To reiterate icemant180's repeated question, how do you maintain visibility through the window with the stick-on louvers, that is, how do you clean the windows?
It would seem like they would get dirty and need to be cleaned, but that you can't get to them. I prefer the look of Black GT500's 9 slot louver, and if keeping the window clean isn't a problem I would get them. However, if it IS a problem, then I'd have to consider getting the silverhorseracing louvers that replace the window glass. I have two concerns, though, about the silverhorseracing louvers: first is the quality of the visibility through the clear polycarbonate slots; it seems to me that your vision is distorted by them. My other concern (besides expense) is the difficulty in returning the vehicle to its stock condition. With stick-on louvers you can just pull them off.
The only other option that I would consider, which happens to be the least expensive, is the prepainted 5 slot stick-on louver from hubcapsplus.com, which are only $180. And, with the width of these five slot louvers, I could probably get a bottle brush in there to clean the windows, so I have to give this some more thought, and would appreciate any comments!

Just had to chime in here about the vendors...I personally don't mind them at all and I think that attack was unwarranted. In the end, we all have a choice on which product to purchase.
Check this out!
Your picture convinced me that those 9-slot louvers were the way to go, but I found out that they attach to the body of the car around the window, and not directly to the window glass. That means the 3M double-sided tape goes onto the paint, and I'm afraid that the adhesive, when it gets hot out in the sun for a long period of time, will eventually bond to the paint so that it can't be removed safely. If there is any risk of that I will have to go another way, so I am looking for more information in the form of someone's actual experience with those louvers.

Thanks.

I would sure like to see some pics to compare to the 9-slot louvers (that cost more and are a much bigger PAIN to get painted, etc.). In a perfect world, if you could also take a picture from the driver's seat looking out, as though you were glancing prior to a lane change ...
Any pictures yet you could post of the prepainted, 5-slot louvers installed?

I'll be honest, the color is really nice. There are some colors I really don't care for too much (but I'll never tell which ones
) but the Highland Green is just a neat color to go with on the Mustang. It's dark enough that in the right light it is almost black, but in sunlight is definitely green without being too washed out. The first vapor set went to a Shelby GT500 owner in Europe, so I expect we'll see pictures of that eventually.
