No sleep yet

We took the weekend off to do spring cleaning (February in FL might as well be spring...) but I don't think I'd call that sleep!

We might have the listing up for the shirts maybe tonight or tomorrow - folding and packaging 100's of shirts is not as much fun as it might sound!

Marcello, if you plan on folding the shirts by hand, I may have an idea for you. Its called the Flip & Fold. You lay the shirt on the plastic, centering it, and flip each side panel in to neatly fold the sleeves in, and then the bottom section to fold the bottom of the shirt. I have one and its great. Its one of the few "As seen on tv" items that actually work. Check out the link below.

Sweet idea! We're already about 400 into this group, so I think we'll just finish it off the "hard" way, but in the next run I will get one of these just to give it a try.

The new trick was figuring out how to protect the shirts long-term until they are shipped out. Bugs don't bother plastic or aluminum much, but people really hate to get a shirt that's got holes in it - or worse, tenants! So we're using a nifty technique to seal standard clear plastic bags, giving us the ability to see inside what size / color it is, while protecting the shirt until it is needed.

Different people = different jobs. Lynn is good at QA and packaging, but not much for programming the CNC equipment - she has the job of inspecting and packing ALL the shirts! I can run the machines and fix anything they break, but I'm not a machinist by trade, etc... anyway, the people that need to do that will be on it shortly, they got tied up on a big job we're currently running to help pay the bills On the plus side, mirror controls should be back next week from finishing if they stay on schedule...

On the gift certificates - not yet. It's a software thing, because you'd need to be able to enter it online as a form of payment, and the webstore currently can't handle that. Not to say it hasn't been thought about, just not possible at the moment for all scenarios. Maybe in a few months we'll be able to add that feature (or more correctly have it added by the software developer) otherwise we'll just have to do it where it is a phone-in deal to redeem them, but can be ordered online.... hmmm...

Are the shirts going under Gear or another category? I checked the site a couple of times yesterday and this morning and no dice.

I think I'll get another thread running (not sure where) about this, but for now, here they are:

http://www.silverhorseracing.com/web...ategory_id=265

I'm telling you the shirts came out much better than we had hoped, and they are a classy T that you can wear with pride, as it isn't some cheap material or poor graphics work (Been there, got the shirt to prove it no less...).

Tell your friends, please! Better yet, buy one for them too!

There is limited availability right now in the ash and yellow colors, we're "testing the waters" before jumping in with a lot of color and size options. White we have a bunch of, but 2XL is also a limited run compared to the other sizes.

Any special requests, let us know, if there's enough requests for a certain size or color combo, we can look at doing them as well.

Wow, that was fast, even by our standards!

There guys, is someone who was on the ball for this release! Ships tomorrow for you, although given the weather up there, you might need to hold off a couple days on wearing it!

I would like to see black or navy as an option for my next one, after I wear this out.

Awesome!!!!!! I wondered how the inserts would look with the bullitt grille. I have both these items sitting in my garage awaiting good weather to install. After the blizzard we just had here today...I'm getting real anxious to get the Mustang out on the road again.

Leo, very nice - I see you have another one of our "pieces" in the background on the PJ car hiding in the corner I'm especially fond of the fuel doors on those cars.
